Mia returned from her family's trip to North Carolina just in time for a little New Year's celebration. Her first sparklers. Aaron, mommy and I were standing by. I was a nervous wreck, but she had fun and gratefully there were only a couple of sparklers to burn. 
Love the photos, especially the second one. I know what you mean. I get very nervous on the 4th of July when the little ones play with them, and the big ones shoot off fireworks. Did you hear about the poor redwing blackbirds in Arkansas?!
ReplyDeleteWe always had sparklers on New Year's Eve and the Fourth of July. They were the only fireworks we were allowed, except for occasionally some very low-voltage firecrackers. I think they are great fun for kids with proper supervision.
