Hope everyone had a happy Valentine's Day. To catch up since the first of the year, I have another part time job. My job with Worldview Publishing had been cut down to only one day a week. Thanks to my son, I found another job at nearby Life Enrichment Center. Cory was doing volunteer hours for them when he heard they needed a new office assistant. He said, "That sounds like my Mom" and I got the job! They offer art, writing, exercise classes and more. I work there 3 days a week and 1 day at Worldview Publishing. So now I have two fun part-time jobs. We had a little family superbowl party at my house with just Cory, Stephanie, Jaime, Aaron and the kids. It was fun. I wish we did this more often. Jonah just got his second report card in middle school and it was all A's and B's again even though there were some concerns in the middle of the grading period. Mia is doing well in kindergarten and going to the park after school. Jill is doing great as always at school and chorus and is a big help to Mia with her homework. I have been using Facebook to keep up with everyone. I invite my Blogger friends to check with me there under Shari Sunday :-)

Christmas season moves along. I am being very creative to do a lot with a little this year. So far, Aaron graduated from Police Academy, Jaime got a promotion, Jaime hosted a wine tasting at her house that she won earlier this year at a charity event. (She even won the tickets to the charity event in the first place.) Still to come, Hannuka dinner at Aaron's parents' house, a traditional cookie party at my friend's house, Christmas Eve at my house, a Christmas visit from Roger's son, Martin, Christmas morning at Jaime's house and Christmas dinner at Martin's mother's house. I LOVE CHRISTMAS!

At the other end of the table were Jaime and Mia with Jill and Stephanie again. I didn't get pictures of me, Karin, Alan, Jay, Papa Jerry or Tyler. Mark and Elliot were in N. Carolina. We had a very happy day.

There is something about a second generation in my little house. I have lived here since Jaime was 5 and Cory was 14. Now the celebrations are moving a few blocks away to Jaime's house. It is taking a while to adjust, but yesterday was wonderful. Everyone brought something so nobody had to do all the work. We were all relaxed and happy. It was truly a happy day.
